NTA hasn't notified CUET UG 2027. In 2026 it ran as a computer-based test from 11 to 31 May, with two more exam days on 6–7 June. Until the 2027 dates are out, this page counts to 1 May 2027.
For most Class 12 students CUET comes straight after the board exams, so the real planning question is how to carry your domain subjects from boards into CUET without a gap.
What CUET UG 2027 tests
- In 2026 there were 37 subjects: 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and a General Aptitude Test.
- You could choose up to five subjects in total, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, irrespective of the subjects you took in Class 12. Each university's programme eligibility decides which ones you need.
- Each test had 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes.
- A correct answer earned 5 marks and a wrong one lost 1. Scores across shifts are normalised into NTA scores.

More than 120 days left
Decide your target universities and programmes first, then read each one's CUET subject requirements. Your five subjects come from that list, not from habit.
Pick up any domain subject you didn't study in Class 12 now, while there's time to learn it properly.
61–120 days left
Your board preparation already covers the domain subjects you studied in Class 12, so put the extra time into the language test and, if you need it, the General Aptitude Test.
Try one timed 50-question set per subject every week or two to get used to 60 minutes per test.
31–60 days left
This window usually overlaps the board exams. Keep a short daily CUET block (language or aptitude practice) so it doesn't drop to zero, and let the boards take the rest.
8–30 days left
After the boards, switch to full timed tests: 50 questions in 60 minutes, under the +5/−1 marking. Review every test for questions lost to rushing.

Revise the subject you write first, and keep the others warm with short notes. Check each test's date, shift and centre on the admit card.
